Kiwi Ferns start all five Warriors

Five Warriors included in Kiwi Ferns' World Cup squad

Tenika Willison and Chantay Kiria-Ratu are set to make their Kiwi Ferns debuts against France in Sunday's Rugby League World Cup match.

All five NZ Warriors players in the squad will start the round-two fixture at One NZ Stadium in Christchurch, with kick-off at 4.00pm.

Apii Nicholls returns at fullback, Mele Hufanga at centre and Kaiyah Atai in the second row.

Stacey Waaka moves from left wing to centre after scoring twice on her Test debut, while Ivana Lauitiiti starts at prop after coming off the bench in last Sunday's 18-12 win over Fiji.

Newcastle Knights winger Willison earns her fourth black jersey after representing New Zealand in touch, rugby sevens and 15s.

Her achievements include Olympic gold, Sevens World Cup and Commonwealth Games gold; she is now seeking a Rugby League World Cup title.

Kiria-Ratu, 21, plays standoff for Cronulla Sharks and represented Queensland in this year's Origin and the under-19 Maroons in 2022 and 2023.

She reached the 2023 NRLW grand final with the Gold Coast Titans and helped the Cook Islands Moana win the 2025 Pacific Bowl.

Kiria-Ratu will partner Raecene McGregor in the halves.
