In this week's pathways report, we focus on the performances of the nib Newcastle Knights pathways teams in the Knock-On-Effect NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg Cup competitions.

The Knights' Jersey Flegg side emerged victorious in their match against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Lyall Peacock Oval on Saturday.

The game kicked off with South Sydney taking an early lead as Tyrone Munro scored the first try of the match just five minutes in.

However, the Knights quickly responded with Dylan Lucas showcasing his try-scoring ability to get the Knights on the scoreboard.

The red and blue team continued to dominate as David Armstrong demonstrated his speed and agility, adding another try to the Knights' tally.

With Laitia Moceidreke crossing the try line shortly after, the Knights extended their lead to 16-4 as they headed into halftime.

Unfortunately, the Knights' NSW Cup side didn't fare as well in their match against the Rabbitohs.

Despite their best efforts, the Knights were unable to overcome the strong opposition and suffered a 10-point defeat at Lyall Peacock Oval.

Overall, it was a mixed bag of results for the nib Newcastle Knights pathways teams.

While the Jersey Flegg side celebrated a well-deserved victory, the NSW Cup side faced a tough challenge against a formidable South Sydney outfit.
