The latest Maxigesic Recovery Report indicates significant injury updates for the New Zealand Warriors following their round 17 match against the Broncos.

Halfback Luke Metcalf has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to a serious knee injury.

Scans have confirmed that he ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee during a tackle in the 67th minute by Brisbane's Brendan Piakura.

The timeline for his surgery is still to be determined.

Fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad, meanwhile, is expected to miss four weeks after sustaining a knee injury while attempting to prevent Broncos centre Gehamat Shibasaki from scoring just before halftime.

Although Nicoll-Klokstad played in the second half, he was substituted in the opening minute.

Scans revealed he has a moderate lateral collateral ligament (LCL) sprain in his left knee.

He is projected to return for the round 21 match against the Titans on July 26.

With these injuries, Metcalf and Nicoll-Klokstad join fellow injured players Mitchell Barnett, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, and Ali Leiataua, further impacting the Warriors' roster.
