Canberra Raiders forward Hudson Young has been ruled out for the remainder of the 2026 season after rupturing his Achilles during Saturday's match against South Sydney.
The club confirmed the injury will require surgery scheduled for Tuesday.
Young will begin a rehabilitation program following the operation as he aims to be ready for the 2027 season.
The Raiders and his teammates have expressed support as he commences his recovery.
