Haas Cleared to Play Against Titans

The Brisbane Broncos' head coach, Michael Maguire, has announced that Payne Haas will be ready to take the field on Saturday evening against the Gold Coast Titans.

Last week, Haas was sidelined during the match against the Dolphins due to a shoulder injury.

At that time, the club hesitated to declare a one-week recovery timeline for Haas. However, Maguire confirmed on Friday morning, following the captain's run, that Haas had successfully completed the last two training sessions without any issues and will travel south for the upcoming match.

"Yep, he will play, definitely," Maguire informed the press.

"He is okay. The last two sessions he has been in all of the session so if you can do that, you're ready to go."

Maguire emphasized the positive impact Haas would have on the team, noting his unique contributions.

"It's nice to have Payne in, but it's also nice to see the team do well with the depth of what we have from last week. But having someone like Payne come back in, we know what Payne brings, he is obviously a special man and a special player in the things he does for us," he commented on Haas's significance.

Haas, who averages an impressive 162 meters per game in his three appearances this season, will return to his starting prop position, with Xavier Willison moving to the interchange bench.

Additionally, the Broncos made another key decision by omitting Josiah Karapani from the squad following an off-field incident last weekend.
