Gold Coast Titans injured duo sidelined vs Panthers

In a blow to the Gold Coast Titans, two key players are set to miss their final showdown against the Penrith Panthers this Saturday evening.

These Titans warriors, David Fifita and Phillip Sami, will go under the knife for ankle injuries, ruling them out of the clash and setting them up for a triumphant return in the 2025 pre-season.

The Titans, under the guidance of coach Des Hasler, have had a tough season marked by injuries and inconsistent performances.

Currently sitting in 14th place on the NRL ladder, they find themselves in the company of strugglers like the Rabbitohs, Parramatta Eels, and Wests Tigers.

With the absence of Fifita and Sami, the Titans will need to dig deep and call upon their reserves to face the Panthers.

This latest setback adds to their woes, with star player AJ Brimson already sidelined.

It's a far cry from the squad that took the field at the start of the 2024 NRL season.

But as they say in the world of Rugby League, it's not over until the final whistle blows.

The Titans will need to show true grit and determination as they face the Panthers in what is sure to be a fierce encounter on the field.
