Gold Coast secure Harrison to 2029

Gold Coast's spine is gaining long-term certainty: five-eighth Jayden Campbell is contracted through 2031, and fullback Keano Kini until 2030.

Halfback Zane Harrison has added his name to the club's future plans, agreeing to stay with the Titans through the end of 2029.

The 20-year-old is a local product who attended Palm Beach Currumbin State High School and came through the Future Titans program.

Coach Josh Hannay said Harrison's connection to the club and hometown was clear.

"Since I joined the club, Zane has consistently spoken about three things - his teammates, his love of the Titans and his desire to bring success to his hometown," Hannay said.

Hannay said Harrison's commitment had remained steady since joining the Titans at 15, despite recent speculation about his contract.

Harrison, who grew up in Tweed Heads supporting the club, said his choice was straightforward.

"I've loved this club since I was a little kid, and pulling on a Titans jersey is all I've ever wanted to do," Harrison said.

He said he believed in the team's direction under Hannay and wanted to help build success at the club.

"I'm really excited about what Josh is building and the direction this team is heading. I want to be part of that, and it was important to me to stay here and build something with the club," Harrison said.

Harrison is due back at pre-season training with his teammates in early November.
