Palm Beach Currumbin will be looking to secure their second Phil Hall Cup victory in three years as they prepare to face St Patrick's Mackay in the Queensland Schoolboy final on Wednesday.

The team, known as a rugby league nursery, last claimed the title in 2021 with an impressive 62-0 win over St Brendan's College.

This victory featured some of the current Gold Coast stars, such as Keano Kini and Tom Weaver.

To further strengthen their chances, Palm Beach Currumbin will be fielding five Future Titans players in the final.

Sunny Kama, Sam Stephenson, Zane Harrison, Jac Finigan, and Ray Puru have all made the trip to North Queensland after defeating Ipswich State High School, the 2022 national champions, in their previous match.

With four state finals appearances in the past six years, Palm Beach Currumbin is riding a wave of success and will look to continue their winning streak.

Their opponents, St Patrick's Mackay, earned their place in the final after defeating Emmaus College in their qualifier.

The Mackay team, who are the Aaron Payne Cup champions, will face Palm Beach Currumbin as the underdogs.

However, in sport, anything can happen, and they will be determined to upset the favorites and claim the Queensland Schoolboy title.

The highly-anticipated final will kick off at 2pm in Townsville and will be broadcast live on KommunityTV.

Both teams will be looking to showcase their skills and talent on the field, with hopes of securing the prestigious championship.

The Palm Beach Currumbin lineup for the final includes Jake Lateo, Sunny Kama, Sam Stephenson, Tyson Ploegsma, Creedence Donovan, Bailey McConnell, Zane Harrison, Brady Turner, Will Saunders, Jaylen Taewa, Baylen Donald, Jac Finigan, Isaac Harrison, Ray Puru, Jett Jackson, Cameron Bevan, Jace Williams, and Ethan Schultz.
