Sunnybank's Heise family can finally rejoice as they prepare to leave the confines of the Mater Hospital in South Brisbane.
Their joy is twofold, as not only do they welcome one of Brisbane's first babies of the New Year, but they also proudly announce the newest addition to the Broncos roster for the highly anticipated season of 2024.
As Mum Rachel delivered baby Abigail at the early hour of 2.05 am on Monday morning, the Heise family's footy team grew even larger, making Abigail the youngest member of their already sizable squad of seven siblings.
To commemorate this momentous occasion, the Broncos have generously presented the Heise family with a Baby Bronco membership, further cementing their connection to the 43,000 strong Bronxnation ready to roar in the upcoming season.
