The Dolphins' NRL pathway program is churning out some top-tier talent, with explosive young prop Elijah Rasmussen poised to make the jump into the big leagues.
Not only is the feeder club system proving to be fruitful, but Redcliffe Dolphins' Hostplus Cup player Aublix Tawha is also making waves with a promotion on the horizon.
Rasmussen, a promising teenager, is set to make the leap from the Academy ranks to the NRL squad next season after inking a three-year deal with the Dolphins.
A standout performer, Rasmussen caught the eye of scouts while showcasing his skills at a Maori tournament in Rotorua, New Zealand.
Since then, he has impressed in the youth leagues and earned himself a spot in the Redcliffe under-19s squad, where he played a key role in their run to the Mal Meninga Cup preliminary final.
Come November, the big front rower will officially join the Dolphins' NRL squad on a full-time basis, ready to make his mark on the professional stage.
