1. The Jai Arrow walk last Saturday was the most incredible sight I've witnessed in league. the game sometimes gets it perfectly right, and this was a prime example. It was a moving moment surrounded by loved ones and thousands of well-wishers. Truly special!
2. With Sam Walker injured and out for the season, it's tempting to dismiss the Roosters. Daly Cherry-Evans was brought in to complete the team, not lead it. He struggled last year in this role, and while he's been impressive in 2026, this will be a monumental challenge for him moving forward.
3. Sam Walker may have harmed his future earnings significantly over the past month. His performance had dramatically declined before his injury. However, I believe he will still secure a substantial contract, though it might not be at the terms he could have commanded after Origin.
