The Dragons have officially signed 18-year-old Tyra Ekepati, effective immediately.
She has joined the club's Top 24 squad for the remainder of the current season and will also be part of the team for the 2026 and 2027 seasons after being granted a release from the Roosters.
Ekepati is a junior from Wyong Roos and has previously played two seasons in the Tarsha Gale Cup with the Roosters, notably starting in the centres during their Grand Final loss in May.
Her impressive performance in the Tarsha Gale Cup led to her selection for NSW's Under 19s Women's State of Origin team, where she scored a try in their 26-10 victory on the Sunshine Coast.
Head Coach Nathan Cross expressed excitement about welcoming "the highly regarded teenager to the club."
