Dragons desperate for first win as Storm reigns supreme

Dragons v Storm: Klemmer steps up; Wishart takes reins

The Dragons are still looking for their first win of the season as they prepare to face the undefeated Storm.

St George Illawarra is coming off a tough loss to the Rabbitohs in Round 2, where they let a lead slip late in the game.

Meanwhile, Melbourne has had a strong start to the season with wins over the Eels and Panthers, despite struggling against an under-strength defending premiers team.

The Storm will be missing key players including star halfback Jahrome Hughes, who suffered a broken hand, and big man Nelson Asofa-Solomona, who is in the NRL's concussion protocol.

Outside backs Nick Meaney and Grant Anderson are also likely to be sidelined due to injuries.

Despite the challenges, Dragons forward David Klemmer is ready to step up for his team, while rookie fullback Cody Wishart will be taking on a leadership role in the absence of regular captain and playmaker Ben Hunt.

The Dragons will be looking to capitalize on the Storm's missing players to secure their first victory of the season.
