The Dragons delivered a powerful performance to shake up the NRL premiership race, leaving their opponents in disarray in a ruthless display on Friday night.

Zac Lomax and Ben Hunt led the charge as the Red V secured a commanding 30-12 victory over the Warriors, causing a stir in the competition.

Lomax, who will be donning the blue jersey for Parramatta next season, showcased his skills with a remarkable 14-point haul, including a try and a rare two-point field goal.

In his 100th game, he stunned the crowd with a stunning 45m field goal just before halftime, followed by a spectacular leap to catch a Hunt bomb and score early in the second half, electrifying WIN Stadium.

"Zac Lomax and the Dragons are on fire," exclaimed Cooper Cronk on Fox League, as the duo put on a masterclass performance.

Hunt also made his mark by setting up a try and getting one himself, fueling the Dragons' onslaught of five consecutive tries in response to the Warriors' lone opening score.

The NRL premiership race has certainly been thrown wide open once again, with the Dragons throwing down the gauntlet and making their presence known.

It's performances like these that remind us why we love the game of Rugby League.
