Following the completion of Round 3 of the 2025 NRL season, teams are preparing for Round 4 with some key players returning and others ruled out due to injury.

The Sydney Roosters are set to receive a double boost with the return of halfback Connor Watson and prop Lindsay Collins.

On the other hand, star halfback Nathan Cleary will be unavailable for the Penrith Panthers this week.

The Manly Sea Eagles will welcome back fullback Tom Trbojevic, while Taniela Paseka will be sidelined due to injury.

According to zerotackle.com, a number of players are set to make a comeback in Round 4.

This includes Daine Laurie from the Penrith Panthers, Joseph Tapine from the Canberra Raiders, Kotoni Staggs from the Brisbane Broncos, and Alex Johnston from the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

These players will provide a much-needed boost for their respective teams as they look to secure a victory in the upcoming round.

However, some teams will be without key players as they head into Round 4.

Jahrome Hughes from the Melbourne Storm, Jeral Skelton from the Wests Tigers, and Nathan Cleary from the Penrith Panthers are among the players who have been ruled out due to injury.

This will pose a challenge for their teams as they look to field a competitive line-up and secure a win in the next round.

With the return of star players like Tom Trbojevic and the availability of other key players, teams will be looking to shake up their line-ups and make strategic changes for Round 4.

The absence of players like Nathan Cleary and Jahrome Hughes will undoubtedly impact their teams' performance, but it also presents an opportunity for other players to step up and fill the void left by their absence.

As teams prepare for another round of NRL action, the competition is expected to be fierce as teams battle it out for crucial points in the early stages of the season.
