Finefeuiaki's 2026 season brought 23 appearances, three tries, five line breaks, 150 metres per match and 843 tackles.
He debuted for North Queensland in 2023 before joining the Dolphins last season.
He later earned his Queensland Maroons debut in Origin II, which Queensland lost to NSW.
Following his breakout season under Kristian Woolf, the Courier-Mail reports the second-rower has agreed to a two-year extension through 2029.
The deal follows Tevita Naufahu's new contract and gives the Dolphins certainty before November 1.
Next week's Suncorp Stadium qualifier is against either the Sydney Roosters or Cronulla Sharks.
