The Dolphins have faced a series of setbacks, with two players ruled out of their match against Newcastle due to injuries.
Back-rowers Kulikefu Finefeuiaki and Connelly Lemuelu are both sidelined, with Lemuelu set to miss up to four weeks with a fractured eye socket.
The team was also forced to flee from flood-hit south-east Queensland, relocating to Newcastle two days earlier than planned.
The Titans also had to relocate to Sydney after their training ground was left underwater.
Three Dolphins players chose to stay home to be with their families during the flood crisis.
Dolphins head of performance Jeremy Hickmans confirmed that Lemuelu will not require surgery for his eye socket injury, but will still be out for around four weeks.
Despite the setbacks, Finefeuiaki is expected to be fit for their round three match against the Wests Tigers.
The team is facing challenges in dealing with injuries and the aftermath of the flood situation, but are working to overcome these obstacles in their upcoming matches.
