Lewis Dodd, the English halfback for the South Sydney Rabbitohs, has had a challenging start to his NRL career, participating in only three games in 2025.
Despite the limited playtime, his manager, Peter Menicou, has clarified that the club does not intend to part ways with him.
Dodd joined the Rabbitohs on a lucrative deal reportedly worth around $650,000 per year, but injuries affected his pre-season training and performance.
As a result, he has fallen behind Jamie Humphreys in the team's hierarchy, particularly under coach Wayne Bennett's scrutiny.
Menicou stated, "For the moment, Souths are ok," reinforcing that Dodd is not on the trading block.
