Dodd's future hops in doubt-Rabbitohs take a hit

Lewis Dodd's future at the South Sydney Rabbitohs is uncertain as he has struggled to make an impact since joining in the pre-season.

Reports from zerotackle.com indicate he is facing a potential exit from the club.

Coach Wayne Bennett brought in three new players-Jamie Humphreys, Lewis Dodd, and Jayden Sullivan-to find the right halves combination this year.

While Humphreys and Sullivan have exceeded expectations, Dodd has not lived up to the hype accompanying his signing and costly contract, spending most of his time in the NSW Cup.

During the current season, Dodd has only played in three NRL matches with limited playing time, leading to his being overlooked for selection in favor of other players such as Jack Wighton and Jye Gray.

The situation has escalated recently as it was announced that the Rabbitohs signed Jonah Glover from the St George Illawarra Dragons for the next season, further compounding Dodd's uncertain standing with the team.
