South Sydney Rabbitohs coach Wayne Bennett has announced that Lewis Dodd will not be part of the team for their Round 16 match against the Melbourne Storm.
Initially listed to play in the halves alongside Jamie Humphreys, Dodd has been replaced by Jack Wighton, who will transition from the centre position.
This adjustment is expected to move Euan Aitken back to the centres after a stint in the back row.
Bennett commented, "Lewis is not in the 17 for us." Despite Dodd's omission, the Rabbitohs have received a boost with Latrell Mitchell returning after playing for the NSW Blues and Keaon Koloamatangi confirmed to feature in the line-up.
