A visibly "frustrated" Cameron Ciraldo is facing criticism for "deflecting" attention from his team's underwhelming performances while taking shots at the referees during recent press conferences.
The Bulldogs have struggled significantly, losing six out of their last seven matches since their 32-16 victory over Penrith, increasing the scrutiny on the team as memories of last season's collapse linger.
This mounting pressure surfaced after Saturday's defeat to the Tigers, prompting Ciraldo to criticise a series of "disappointing" calls that he felt were unjust towards the Bulldogs.
This isn't the first occasion Ciraldo has targeted officiating this season; earlier, he remarked that the Bulldogs had become an "easy target" following their loss to the Dolphins, as noted in an earlier report.
Ciraldo has also questioned the penalty count in the aftermath of their Good Friday loss to South Sydney, and mentioned that accumulating "a number of six-agains" didn't benefit the team following their encounter with the Cowboys.
In Ciraldo's defence, he has also held his players accountable, notably criticising them for making "soft decisions" in a loss to the Knights, and asserting it was "bulls***" to blame fatigue for their defeat to the Sharks.
