Joe Chan, a promising young player, is set to make his first-grade debut for the Melbourne Storm in their upcoming game against the Brisbane Broncos.

The announcement was made by head coach Craig Bellamy, who named Chan in the second-row position.

This means that Chan will be playing alongside experienced players Sua Fa'alogo and Jack Howarth.

Chan joined the Melbourne Storm from the Catalan Dragons during the 2023 pre-season.

At just 21 years old, he has already shown great potential as a forward during his time with the Brisbane Tigers in the HostPlus Cup.

His natural talent and youthful energy make him a valuable addition to the Storm team.

In addition to Chan's debut, Grant Anderson will also be making his return to the Storm jersey for the first time since Round 14.

He will be covering for Will Warbrick on the wing.

Anderson's experience and skill will be a welcome addition to the team.

Meanwhile, Keagan Russell-Smith, the captain of the Storm's Jersey Flegg team, will not be playing in this game.

He has been replaced by development players Cole Geyer and Tristan Powell, who have been included in the final squad.

Overall, the Melbourne Storm is making some changes to their lineup for this crucial game against the Broncos.

With the inclusion of Joe Chan and the return of Grant Anderson, the team hopes to secure a victory and continue their successful season.
