Canterbury Bulldogs sign rising fullback Votano

Phil Gould confirms two more Canterbury Bulldogs player departures

Connor Votano recorded seven tries and 15 try assists in 17 NSW Cup matches, helping his side reach a Preliminary Final.

The 20-year-old fullback has signed a two-year deal with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs after joining from the Newcastle Knights.

He made his NRL debut for Newcastle in 2025.

The Central Coast product represented NSW Under 19s in 2024 and 2025.

Bulldogs General Manager of Football Phil Gould AM welcomed the signing, saying, "We're thrilled to have Connor join the Club. He is a young, exciting footballer who is determined to take the next step in his career,"

Gould added, "Connor has bided his time at the Knights and we're confident he will thrive in the Bulldogs system."

Votano is due to start training with the Bulldogs in November, when players return for pre-season.
