In this week's pathways report, the Newcastle Knights website, newcastleknights.com.au, provides an update on the performance of the nib Newcastle Knights pathways teams in the Knock-On-Effect NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg Cup competitions.
The two teams traveled to Belconnen last Sunday to face off against the Canberra Raiders pathways teams.
Let's dive into how each team fared.
Unfortunately, the NSW Cup side was defeated by the Canberra Raiders, with a final score of 12 points to the Knights' 0.
The Raiders dominated the first half, scoring three tries, while the Knights managed to put some points on the board with a try from Jack Johns just before halftime.
However, the second half saw the Raiders extend their lead, scoring four more tries.
Despite efforts from Dylan Lucas, who scored twice, and a crash play from Callan Burgess, the Knights were unable to secure a victory.
