The Canterbury Bulldogs have officially announced that Jacob Kiraz will participate in Friday's qualifying final against the Melbourne Storm.
Named on the reserves list on Tuesday, Kiraz has been working to recover from a groin injury that sidelined him during the final weeks of the regular season.
It seems he has successfully passed a fitness test on game day, as he has been added to the 19-man squad just 24 hours ahead of the match, taking the place of Blake Wilson for the upcoming game against the Storm.
This match holds significant importance, as the winner will secure a valuable week off. Both teams enter the contest with some key players missing.
Kiraz's return is a significant advantage for the Bulldogs, especially after the losses of Marcelo Montoya and Bronson Xerri to injuries during last weekend's 24-6 defeat against the Cronulla Sharks.
Additionally, the Bulldogs will keep Enari Tuala, who was slated to move from the wing to the centres, as well as Jethro Rinakama, who joins Kiraz as the other new addition to the lineup.
