Bulldogs captain cries for justice, claims Dragon's bite

‘Hard evidence that’s hard to watch’: Crichton accuses Dragons rival of biting

LeagueNews.co | Jason Patrick

In a brutal display of aggression, Bulldogs skipper Stephen Crichton has called out Dragons playmaker Kyle Flanagan for sinking his teeth into him during a heated showdown.

The jaw-dropping accusation came after a fiery clash between the two teams on Saturday night, where tempers flared and tensions ran high.

Despite the alleged chomp going unnoticed by officials during the match, Crichton wasted no time in lodging a formal complaint post-game, prompting Fox League to sift through the footage.

Upon reviewing the incriminating replays, legendary Kangaroos coach Mal Meninga left no room for doubt, declaring Flanagan guilty of a savage bite that left Crichton with a bloody nose following their on-field scuffle.

"That was a tough pill to swallow and the proof is in the pudding," Meninga remarked.

"There's no denying that he took a nibble.

And the aftermath of that is Stephen's nose is leaking.

It's a tough one to shake off, to be fair."
