The Brisbane Broncos have secured a spot in the semi-finals after a dominant 46-12 victory over the St.
George Illawarra Dragons at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium on Saturday night.
According to broncos.com.au, the Broncos have locked in their finals berth with this impressive win.
The match showcased a battle for the top try scorer award, with Teagan Berry and Mele Hufanga from both teams going head-to-head.
However, it was Broncos winger Julia Robinson who stole the show, scoring a remarkable hat-trick, running for an impressive 230 metres, and breaking seven tackles.
The game started with the Dragons defending repeat sets in the first ten minutes, but it was Robinson who found an overlap and opened the scoring by crossing over in the corner.
The Dragons quickly responded with a try on debut from second-rower Ellie Williamson, who broke through the Broncos' defensive line untouched in the 16th minute.
A successful conversion from Raecence McGregor put the Dragons in the lead 6-4.
The Broncos regained momentum and quickly turned the tide in their favor, scoring two tries in quick succession under the posts.
Destiny Brill and Ali Brigginshaw were the try-scorers, extending the Broncos' lead to 16-6.
Hufanga then showcased her attacking prowess by breaking through the defensive line and scoring her ninth try in nine games.
Brigginshaw converted, and the Broncos entered halftime with a commanding 22-6 lead.
