Broncos and Leniu: Late night shadows reveal regret

In a late-night incident involving Brisbane Broncos players and Spencer Leniu from the Sydney Roosters, tensions escalated after Leniu was accused of using a racial slur during their recent match.

According to reports from Zero Tackle and The Sydney Morning Herald, the incident took place at the Hilton hotel in Resorts World in the early morning hours.

Fortunately, the confrontation was verbal, not physical, as confirmed by both clubs.

It appears that Kotoni Staggs and Leniu had a heated exchange of words, followed by Patrick Carrigan stepping in to defend his Broncos teammate against the Roosters' recruit.

However, The Courier Mail later revealed that Leniu was involved in a separate altercation, verbally attacking Ezra Mam, before Carrigan once again came to the defense of his teammate.

This incident highlights not only the intensity of the rivalry between these two clubs but also the importance of maintaining respect on and off the field.
