Xavier Willison is Brisbane's key retention concern before November 1, when NRL clubs can negotiate with players whose contracts expire after 2027.
All 17 teams have until that date to extend their players before rival clubs can approach them.
Brisbane's off-contract group includes Phillip Coates, Dane Gagai, Ben Hunt, Josiah Karapani, Deine Mariner, Blake Mozer, Hayze Perham, Brendan Piakura, Ben Talty, Aublix Tawha and Willison.
The Broncos have already secured Reece Walsh, Pat Carrigan, Ezra Mam and Kotoni Staggs beyond 2027.
Gagai and Hunt are expected to be nearing the ends of their NRL careers, while wingers Karapani and Mariner could be offered extensions to strengthen Brisbane's outside-back depth.
Karapani's position is less certain after off-field incidents this season.
Willison has said he wants to stay long-term, but has paused contract discussions following a change of management.
It has been reported that Brisbane may offer the forward a four-year deal worth $4 million, a figure some commentators question.
"If it was the Wests Tigers offering Willison a million dollars a year, I'd probably understand it, but it's the Brisbane Broncos," journalist Paul Crawley said on NRL 360. "For generations they've stayed for unders and that's what the Broncos are now, offering this young prop a million dollars. It's not Payne Haas. He's won his first Paul Morgan Medal and he's had a good season, but he's not a million-dollar prop."
