The PNG Chiefs have signed renowned winger Brian To'o, marking him as the sixth player to join the team for their first NRL season in 2028.
The announcement about the former Penrith Panthers star, who has played for NSW in State of Origin and represented Samoa in international matches, came from the Chiefs on Monday.
To'o will be with the Chiefs under a three-year contract, concluding his time with the Panthers in 2027.
"Brian is an exceptional rugby league player, but this signing is about much more than football," PNG Chiefs CEO Lorna McPherson stated.
"The PNG Chiefs will be a club proudly built in Papua New Guinea but with a strong Pacific identity."

To'o has played an instrumental role in the success of the Penrith Panthers, a team that dominated with four consecutive premierships between 2021 and 2024, reached the grand final in 2020, and advanced to the preliminary finals last year.
