Former North Queensland Cowboys and Manly Sea Eagles forward Ben Condon is preparing for his next rugby league contract.

While many anticipated that the skilled backrower would finalize a deal with the Super League's Leigh Leopards, All Out Rugby League has announced a potential new contender that could alter the situation.

The Catalans Dragons, who have been quite proactive in the transfer market recently, are positioning themselves as a viable destination for the off-contract forward.

With 13 players expected to leave the Dragons, Condon could join a growing list of Australian imports, including Toby Sexton, Charlie Staines, Josh Allen, Zac Lipowicz, Harvey Wilson, and Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui.

Throughout his career, Condon has played in 17 NRL matches and has over 70 appearances with Northern Pride, Mackay Cutters, and Blacktown in the Queensland and New South Wales Cup competitions.

The Dragons are already assembling a strong roster for 2026 under the leadership of head coach Joel Tomkins, and Condon's potential addition would enhance the team's already impressive lineup.

As of now, no deal has been finalized, but the Leopards may be anxious about the possibility of losing out on Condon's signature.
