Bath's Santi Carreras used an unexpected tactic to break up a Harlequins attack on Friday night.
The incident took place in the Gallagher PREM, England's top division of rugby union.
At 28, Carreras is an Argentina international defending for his club against Harlequins.
Facing a two-on-one, he kicked the final pass away from the winger's grasp with his right boot.
Carreras then gathered the ball one-handed and sprinted the length of the field to score.
The TNT Sport commentary team reacted: "No way has Santi Carreras done that… what an intervention!"
They added: "He didn't even think about going with the hands, not for a minute."
One commentator said: "That is one of the coolest things I've ever seen on a rugby pitch, they're moments you dream about."
