In a recent NRL Judiciary update, it has been reported that Fletcher Baker, a player for the Sydney Roosters, has entered an early guilty plea in relation to his Grade One Dangerous Throw Charge.
This charge came as a result of an incident that occurred during the Roosters' Round 27 match against the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
The Match Review Committee cited Baker for his actions, specifically a dangerous throw that took place in the 42nd minute of the game.
As a consequence of entering an early guilty plea, Baker will be fined $1000.
However, if he had been found guilty at the panel, the fine would have been increased to $1500.
Despite this charge, Baker will still be available for selection in the Roosters' upcoming Finals Week One clash with the Sharks.
