Australia secured a place in the World Cup semi-finals with a 78-0 defeat of England, but the result came with concern over Julia Robinson's left wrist.
The Jillaroos centre was hurt while attempting a tackle in the 20th minute and left for hospital before halftime.
Coach Jess Skinner said Robinson would undergo scans.
"She's getting scans done," Skinner said.
"She was in good spirits, having something to eat before she headed off to the hospital, which is very true to her."
Australia's 40-0 win over Samoa had already put the team in a strong position, and the England result confirmed its semi-final place.
The final group match against Wales is now a dead rubber for Australia.
World No.3 England must beat world No.5 Samoa to advance, after conceding 15 tries in Perth.
Jaime Chapman scored twice in the opening six minutes, while Jocelyn Kelleher, Isabelle Kelly and Abbi Church each added two tries.
The one-sided result recalled Australia's 90-4 win over England in Las Vegas 19 months earlier.
England captain Jodie Cunningham was also taken to hospital, where she needed stitches for an ear injury.
"I'm happy with the win," Skinner said.
"I said at halftime it felt like we were playing the style of footy, which was nice to get to this week."
