England's 70-6 win over Wales was the biggest result of the tournament's opening round.
Australia beat Samoa 40-0 and remain favourites for Saturday's Ashes rematch in Perth.
Fullback Tamika Upton scored five tries in Australia's 90-4 win over England in Las Vegas last March, but expects a tougher contest.
"We're definitely not expecting the same result," Upton told AAP.
"Obviously, special to be a part of that game (90-4 victory), but it is definitely not going to be like that," she said.
Australia are defending the title won four years ago, but Upton missed that tournament with a calf injury.
Upton will earn her 10th cap; her honours include three Dally Ms, five premierships, two Karyn Murphy Medals and three State of Origin series wins.
"(Winning a World Cup) would be everything," Upton said.
"We've come together as a group and it's what we've spoken about and it's obviously the goal."
