The latest update in the NRL MVP race for 2024 has been revealed by Zero Tackle, with the top ten players now announced.

As the final round approached, James Tedesco was leading the charge, with Jahrome Hughes close behind.

Scott Drinkwater also had a slight chance of taking the top spot, but would need everything to fall into place for him.

Tom Trbojevic secured his spot in fourth place, while the rest of the top ten was tightly contested.

Isaah Yeo, Jacob Kiraz, Sam Walker, Dylan Edwards, Daly Cherry-Evans, and Addin Fonua-Blake were all within 20 votes of each other, with Ben Hunt, Patrick Carrigan, and Clinton Gutherson not far behind.

Throughout the season, the panel, consisting of Zero Tackle founder Matt Clements, writers Dan Nichols and Ethan Lee Chalk, and the editor, have been casting their votes using a 5-4-3-2-1 scoring system.

The player deemed the best on the field receives five votes, with the next best receiving four, and so on.

With the votes tallied and the rankings revealed, the race for the NRL MVP title is heating up as the top players battle it out on the field.
