Released Parramatta Eels winger Zac Lomax is reportedly considering a contract offer of $900,000 as he looks toward the next phase of his career.

As he navigates his future, the NSW Blues player has been associated with boxing, mixed martial arts (MMA), and various rugby union competitions across Australia, Europe, and Japan, although he has not finalized any plans yet.

According to Code Sports, Lomax has received a two-year contract proposal from the Western Force in the Super Rugby league, valued at approximately $450,000 per year, which he is currently contemplating.

Joining the Force could position him to play for the Australian Wallabies in the upcoming 2027 Rugby World Cup.

"The small discussions I've had around that is that if a player is interested, and if they've had some history in their youth that they've been involved in the game, it always helps," said Wallabies coach Les Kiss in relation to Lomax's potential involvement.

"I think someone like Zac has from my memory, of some people talking about him. Those types of people, if they have the appetite, then I think the conversations are always open," he added.

"You can't just put your head in the sand over these things, but I do think good, smart decisions should always be there and we should be open to them," Kiss concluded, emphasizing the importance of making informed choices.
