The Canberra Raiders have officially re-signed Relna Wuruki-Hosea for the 2026 and 2027 NRLW seasons.
Wuruki-Hosea, who debuted in round five of the previous season, played three games in her inaugural year.
At just 19, she hails from Badu Island in the Torres Strait and later moved to Brisbane to finish high school.
The year 2024 proved significant for Wuruki-Hosea, as she not only made her NRLW debut but also represented Queensland in the Under 19s Origin.
Additionally, she received the 'Weapon of the Year' award in the Queensland Harvey Norman Under 19 competition.
Raiders NRLW coach Darrin Borthwick expressed enthusiasm about securing Wuruki-Hosea for two more years beyond this season.
