In Round 1 of the 2025 Harvey Norman NSW Women's Premiership, St George and Illawarra faced off over the weekend.
The match kicked off strongly for the home team, with Sarah Scambary and Marley Cardwell scoring within the first five minutes, giving them an early lead of 12-0.
However, Renee Targett's squad fought back, with five-eighth Sienna Stewart scoring a try at the 23-minute mark.
Just before halftime, Jayme Millard scored again for the Red V, tying the game.
Millard added a second try ten minutes into the second half, putting her team ahead.
The Mounties then responded with back-to-back tries from Logan Lemusu and Siu Richter.
Charis Toli capped off the match with a late double, securing victory for the hosts.
