In the recent Challenge Cup final, Warrington Wolves head coach Sam Burgess expressed pride in his team's performance despite a heartbreaking 8-6 loss to Hull Kingston Rovers.

Tom Davies scored a late try for Hull, followed by Mikey Lewis' conversion, securing their victory at Wembley Stadium.

Burgess stated, "It's tough for the players.

I thought that we were good today and executed the game plan well.

We were physical when we needed to be and I thought we were the better side - I really do." He acknowledged the difficulty of the loss for his team but emphasized that he was proud of their overall effort, noting, "The end of the game was a bit of a blow for me really."
