Warrington Wolves secured a spot in the Betfred Challenge Cup semi-finals after a thrilling 20-12 victory over local rivals St Helens at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Captain George Williams' 75-meter match-winning try, converted by Marc Sneyd, sealed the win for the Wolves.
Matt Dufty and Ben Currie also scored tries with Sneyd adding four goals.
This victory marked the sixth consecutive win against St Helens for Warrington, putting them just one game away from a return to Wembley after last season's cup final defeat.
Despite a valiant effort from St Helens, who scored tries through Tristan Sailor and Daryl Clark converted by Jon Bennison, it was not enough to overcome the Wolves.
The game started with a ferocious pace, with St Helens dominating field position but failing to capitalize, while Wolves prop Paul Vaughan was forced off the field with a dislocated finger.
The win sets up a semi-final clash with Leigh, as Warrington aims to continue their cup run towards Wembley.
