The departures of two Gold Coast Titans players, Sam Verrills and Jaimin Jolliffe, have been met with notable reactions from their partners.
As both players were included on the list of departures at the end of the 2026 season, their exits have drawn attention.
Jolliffe has secured a contract in the English Super League, while Verrills is exploring options with other NRL teams, including the Canterbury Bulldogs.
Despite his uncertain future, Verrills' partner shared a now-deleted post celebrating the separation from the Titans, stating, "Thank god that's over."
This year, Verrills has found himself lower in the team hierarchy, with Oliver Pascoe emerging as the preferred option at hooker for the Titans.
Parker's enthusiastic comment hints at potential dissatisfaction with the situation at the club.
