NRL great Willie Mason has spotted a 'petty' two-word sign in the Raiders sheds that he believes showcases Ricky Stuart's coaching prowess.
The former Clive Churchill medallist was taken aback yet impressed by the blunt message after Canberra's impressive Round 1 win over the Knights.
Discussing the Raiders' triumph on his Levels podcast with ex-NRL player Justin Horo, Mason revealed the motivational sign with the official Raiders logo simply stating: "F**k Em".
The tough win at Newcastle's McDonald Jones Stadium had Mason praising the team's gritty effort, likening it to the typical Canberra siege mentality.
"Ricky Stuart, you see what he had (written in the dressing room) - 'f**k em' - who has that in their dressing room?" Mason marveled.
The intimidating message to their opponents epitomizes the fighting spirit engrained in the Raiders, according to the NRL legend.
