In a thrilling Super League encounter, the Wigan Warriors secured a 13-12 golden-point victory over Hull FC.

The game saw a dramatic finish as Wigan fought back late to snatch the win.

Liam Marshall's try gave the hosts an early lead, but Hull responded with resolute defense and Adam Swift's finish to take a slender 6-4 halftime advantage.

In the second half, Brad Dwyer extended Hull's lead to 12-4, but Toby King's try brought Wigan back into the game.

With Hull reduced to 12 men after Carlos Tuimavave was sin-binned, Jake Wardle levelled the scores with just three minutes remaining on the clock.

The game went into extra time, with both sides missing attempts to break the deadlock in the first period.

However, it was Wigan's Harry Smith who proved to be the hero with a stunning 40-yard drop-goal that sealed the victory for his team.

This win marks Wigan's fourth consecutive victory in the Super League and their sixth win in seven matches.

It brings them within two points of table-topping Catalans Dragons.

On the other hand, Hull FC remains two points outside the playoff spots in eighth position.
