The North Sydney Bears had a successful weekend in the NSW Cup, securing a convincing victory over the Parramatta Eels.

The Bears dominated the game from the start, taking 15 minutes to get on the scoreboard.

Front rower Regan Hughes led the charge, crossing the try line to put the Bears in the lead.

The team continued their dominance by scoring two more tries through wingers Fetalaiga Pauga and Tuipulotu Katoa, extending their lead to 16-0.

Despite Parramatta's efforts to make a comeback, they could only manage one try, scored by Turoa Williams, before halftime.

The Bears' strong defense prevented any further scoring from the Eels, while they continued to pile on the points.

The final score stood at an impressive 40-4 in favor of the Bears, marking their largest victory of the 2023 season.
