Wests Tigers trio make Jillaroos squad

Wests Tigers announce a further five NRLW players

The Jillaroos will open their 2026 Rugby League World Cup campaign against Fetu Samoa at Sydney's CommBank Stadium on Friday, 16 October.

Wests Tigers players Kezie Apps, Sarah Togatuki and Shaylee Bent have been selected after helping the club reach its first NRLW finals series.

Apps captained the Tigers and was named NRLW Captain of the Year at the Dally M Awards; she has represented the Jillaroos 22 times.

Togatuki won the NRLW Prop of the Year award and has represented both Australia and Samoa.

She also contributed to the Tigers' Guardians of Values leadership group.

Bent joined the Tigers with more than 50 NRLW appearances and was named NRLW Second Rower of the Year after her first season with the club.

She also received the Tigers' NRLW Players' Player honour and finished runner-up for the club's Player of the Year award.

Bent returns to the Jillaroos squad for the first time since 2023.

Wests Tigers Head Coach Craig Sandercock praised the trio's selection, saying, "I'm so pleased for the players, all three of them were instrumental to the team's performance this year, and they all train and work hard, and truly deserve the selection,"
