Tom Jenkins' record-setting 2026 NRL campaign has earned him a place as a shadow player in Australia's extended squad for the Rugby League World Cup.
The Panthers winger scored 30 tries and claimed the Ken Irvine Medal. Coach Kevin Walters named him alongside club teammates Isaah Yeo and Liam Martin.
Yeo and Martin are set for their second World Cup, having both featured in Australia's 2022 title-winning campaign in the United Kingdom.
Yeo will captain the Kangaroos at a World Cup for the first time, after leading Australia to the 2024 Pacific Cup and 2025 Ashes.
The tournament starts Thursday 15 October, with Australia facing New Zealand at Allianz Stadium.
Games will be held across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. The final is scheduled for Suncorp Stadium on Sunday 15 November.
