Wests Tigers sign utility Kurt Mann

Wests Tigers sign Kurt Mann for 2027 season

Kurt Mann will join the Wests Tigers at Concord on a one-year deal, bringing experience from 235 NRL games and several positions across the forwards and at hooker.

The 33-year-old played all three State of Origin matches for Queensland in last year's winning series after being selected by former Maroons coach Billy Slater.

Mann made his NRL debut with Melbourne and famously caught a Cooper Cronk cross-field kick to secure a late 2014 win over Manly.

He has also played for St George Illawarra, Newcastle and the Bulldogs, where he spent three seasons under Cameron Ciraldo.

Mann said he was eager to join the club and prepare for 2027. "I'm really looking forward to joining the Wests Tigers, connecting with the playing group and coaches,'' Mann said in a Tigers statement.

"I can't wait to get stuck into some hard work and giving 2027 a red-hot shake."

Coach Benji Marshall praised Mann's versatility and experience, saying, "Kurt brings Origin experience and has played plenty of games in the NRL. He adds a lot of depth to the roster,'' Marshall said.

Mann joins Jayden Brailey as an experienced recruit expected to strengthen the Tigers' leadership next season.
