Wests Tigers re-sign Salma Nour

Wests Tigers re-sign Salma Nour for 2027 NRLW season

Salma Nour scored four tries in 11 appearances for Wests Tigers in 2026, helping the side reach the NRLW finals for the first time under coach Craig Sandercock.

The 23-year-old has signed on for the 2027 season, extending her time with the club she joined as a foundation player in 2023.

Nour started at hooker in all but one of her 2026 games. She has scored nine tries across 28 appearances for Wests Tigers.

"I'm really pleased to be coming back here next season and I'm so excited to go around again with 'Sandy' and the girls," Nour said.

"I feel like as a group, we're moving in such a great direction and it's a privilege to be part of this."

Sandercock said Nour earned the new deal after taking her chance in the team.

"Salma really stepped up this season. She came back into the side as a replacement ahead of 2026 and made the starting hooker position her own,'' Sandercock said.

"She is a quality dummy-half who has worked very hard on her game. The rewards are starting to come through."
