Wests Tigers reached their first NRLW finals series in 2026, with Holli Wheeler's leadership helping the team through the campaign.
The club has re-signed the Australia and NSW representative until the end of the 2027 NRLW season.
A participant in the competition's inaugural 2018 season, Wheeler marked her 50th appearance against the Roosters in Round 4 this year.
She played 11 matches this season, missing just one, and averaged 83 run metres, including 32 post-contact metres, and 26 tackles.
Wheeler recorded 90 supports, third-highest in the competition, and made 286 tackles, placing her among the top 20 tacklers alongside teammates Shaylee Bent and Shaniece Monschau.
At the start of 2026, the lock was named one of the team's 'Guardians of Values', helping set standards on and off the field.
"From the second I got here, it just felt right," said Wheeler.
"I feel like we've built a really strong foundation here, reaching finals footy and showing what this group is capable of. There's plenty more we can keep building on next season, and I'm excited to pull on the jersey for another year."
NRLW head coach Craig Sandercock praised her contribution.
"Holli is a vital part of the team," Sandercock said.
"She leads by example, she is one of the hardest trainers in the side and brings invaluable experience."
